Revd Eamonn Rodgers, Non-Stipenduary Assistant Priest
Eamonn Rodgers studied Modern Languages (French and Spanish) at The Queen's University, Belfast, obtaining an Honours B.A. in 1963, and a Ph.D in 1970. From 1964 until the end of 1989 he taught Spanish in Trinity College, Dublin, moving to Glasgow in January 1990 to occupy the Chair of Spanish and Latin American Studies at the University of Strathclyde. He retired in 2004 and embarked on training for ordained ministry at the Theological Institute of the Scottish Episcopal Church. He was ordained Deacon in 2005 and Priest in 2006. He is Non-Stipendiary Assistant at St Ninian's, and also officiates as required in other Episcopal Churches in the Diocese. He recently (June, 2012) graduated M.Litt. from the Divinity School of the University of St Andrews. His interests are literature, music and the natural environment.
