JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT by Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber
A performance by St Ninian’s Drama Group
directed by Joyce Maxwell
Some might have wondered if the previous productions
of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, by
St Ninian’s Drama Group, would prove too much to live
up to - not a bit of it - this was a polished, vibrant and
thoroughly entertaining performance. The setting in
The Tramway certainly contributed to the production
with better accoustics (and more comfortable seats!).
Grant Longwill starred as Joseph - and star he did - his
acrobatics were matched by the quality of his acting
and singing and he had a wonderful rapport with the
audience as well as with his fellow performers.
